2011 Couple Membership
Applewood Knolls is a family-friendly swim and tennis club providing summertime fun for over 30 years. We are a non-profit facility that welcomes everyone for a summer of fun, fitness and friendship. The club is open from
Memorial Day until Labor Day.
Couple membership (2 adults, same household). Members can earn free guest passes by paying dues before April 1. A $50 rebate will be issued to members participating in the spring or fall work day. The cost for a returning couples membership is $300 (plus a $5 service fee for online payments). In addition, for this year AK is charging an additional $30 Facility Improvement Fee for all member class to cover recent improvements (i.e., tennis court resurfacing, cabana covers, BBQ grills, etc.) Thus, the total cost for a couples membership by credit card is $335 (or $330 if you want to pay by check). LIABILITY WAIVER: You (each member, guest, or minor children) agree that if you engage in any physical exercise or activity at the club, or use any club amenity on the premises, you do so entirely at your own risk and that you, your guests and your minor children] assume all risks of injury, illness, or death. This waiver and release of liability includes, without limitation, all injuries which may occur, regardless of negligence, as a result of; (a) you, your guest’s or your minor children’s use of any and all amenities in the facility and you or your minor children’s participation in any activity, class, or program, and (b) you, your guest’s or your minor children slipping and/or falling while at the club, in or around the pool, or on the club premises, including but not limited to adjacent sidewalks, grass lawns and/or parking areas. You expressly agree to release and discharge Applewood Knolls Swim and Tennis Club, and its officers, volunteers, employees, agents, representatives, successors, or assigns, from any and all claims, damages or causes of action arising out of or related to you or your minor children’s use of the club and its facilities, and you agree to voluntarily give up or waive any right that you may otherwise have to bring a legal action against the club, its officers, volunteers, employees, agents, representatives, successors, or assigns for from any and all claims, damages or causes of action including but not limited claims for negligence, personal injury, property damage or subrogation. As the parent or guardian of the above named minor children, you are signing this document on behalf of your minor children, and, on behalf of your children, yourself and the other parent of said child, agree to be bound to all the terms and conditions of this Agreement. YOU HAVE READ THE AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND THE TERMS HEREIN, UNDERSTAND THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT, ARE AWARE OF ITS LEGAL CONSEQUENCES, AND HAVE SIGNED THIS DOCUMENT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT, ASSURANCE OR GUARANTEE BEING MADE BY THE CLUB OR ANYONE ASSOCIATED WITH THE CLUB. YOU INTEND YOUR SIGNATURE TO BE A COMPLETE AND UNCONDITIONAL RELEASE OF ALL LIABILITY TO THE GREATEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW AND FURTHER AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS THE ABOVE NAMED RELEASEES.
